Food Indian cuisine
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is served in home cooked style for both Veg and Non-Vegetarian guests. Morning Cuppa Chai can be served in the garden with great views of the mountains.
Hosts Amisha Dehra and Vicky
Vicky has always dreamt of a place in the hills. When this dream became Amisha’s obsession too, here they came… to own their own place in the mountains. What they have to offer is a simple structure with 3 rooms and a spacious dining place. Definitely not a sophisticated resort, the atmosphere here is casual and informal. And though they don’t have any in-house entertainment there are beautiful meadows to picnic in. They may not have fancy music systems but the chirping of birds during the day and cicadas at night make up for it.
Suggested Activity #1 Laze around the homestay
At Seegreen Lodges you can just laze around and take in the wonderful ambience, or take up early morning walks so you can watch the splendid sunrise that will be unlike any other. Tea sessions out in the garden can be arranged so that you can enjoy a truly marvellous view with your morning cuppa chai. If you have a good camera, you could spot out the Mountain Hawk Eagle or the Hill Partridge or even the Eurasian Jay or perhaps, rarer birds like the White tailed Nuthatch or Bar Tailed Tree Creeper which are only found in these parts. While they do have a library that has a wide selection of travel and fictional works, their recreation centre is also quite popular with youngsters with a wide variety of indoor games to choose from
Suggested Activity #2 Landour market
For those of you who can bring yourselves to step out of the premises, you could try the local Landour market, which has a nice collection of footwear and silverware to choose from. The Lal Tibba walk, which used to be a watch tower during the British Raj, also makes for an interesting thing to do
Suggested Activity #3 Horse-riding
You could go horse – riding to Camels back road, which is a rather unique rock formation that resembles a camel, and gives you a superb view of the Himalayas.
Suggested Activity #3 Gun hill and Kempty Falls
Gun Hill offers a breath-taking view of the Himalayan ranges as well as that of Mussoorie town and the Doon Valley. Kempty falls also serves as a wonderful visiting spot, and has the distinction of having the biggest and prettiest waterfall that rests between a valley, surrounded by high mountains alongside
